The blogger-baiting track features on the pop singer's third album 'Sheezus'
Lily Allen has shared the video for her new single ‘URL Badman’ online.
The track, which takes a pop at bedroom bloggers, features on Allen’s latest album, ‘Sheezus’, which was released earlier this year. Click above to watch the video.
Allen played Glastonbury festival this weekend. During her set she told the crowd she had been worried about the Saturday evening booking in case it clashed with an England game, but that it didn’t matter since the team crashed out of the World Cup. “Not only because we are shit, but also because there’s a bit of corruption going on,” she said. She dedicated ‘Fuck You’ to FIFA president Sepp Blatter, who she described as “one of the most corrupt, well not most corrupt, but most annoyingly corrupt people, the cunt.”
Also over this weekend Lily Allen revealed her eight favourite songs on Desert Island Discs, guesting on the long-running Radio 4 show.
Allen chose songs by The Stone Roses, Pulp and Etta James. She was the first castaway to pick tracks by The Streets, Irish rockers Sultans Of Ping FC, Louisiana blues musician Tommy McLain and dancehall producer General Degree. Asked to pick one song to save out of the eight, Allen chose The Stone Roses’ ‘I Am The Resurrection’.
Allen starts a tour of mainland Europe tomorrow (July 3), with her only scheduled UK shows happening at V Festival in August. On her website she has a competition to win £2,000 by remixing the title track of her recent third album.
