Australian band GRINSPOON will perform at the funeral of JESSICA MICHALIK, the 16-year-old girl who died after suffering a heart attack during LIMP BIZKIT’s set at the SYDNEY BIG DAY OUT.

The punk band from Lismore, who were reportedly the Dee Why High School pupil’s favourite Australian group, has agreed to interrupt rehearsals this week to perform at the special ceremony tomorrow (February 7) at the Northern Suburbs Crematorium, North Ryde.

Grinspoon, famous in Australia for songs including ‘DCX3’, ‘Rockshow’, ‘Easy’ and ‘Ready 1’, will travel to Byron Bay on Wednesday to play in the chapel at the crematorium, in a ceremony which will follow Jessica’s funeral.
