Three of America's hottest acts team up for the tour of the year - and they'll be coming to Europe as well...
Although venues and dates have yet to be fully confirmed, the three acts, joined by Papa Roach and Xzibit, will play a series of 10-15,000 capacity venues in the US during November and December.
A UK spokesperson for Limp Bizkit also confirmed this morning (September 13) that the same mouth-watering touring party will play the UK and Europe, kicking off in March 2001.
Full details will be announced in the coming weeks.
Limp Bizkit‘s spokesperson also revealed that the band shot the video for future single release ‘Rollin” in New York last week at a cost of US$3million. They filmed the promo on top of the World Trade Center on Thursday (September 7) hours before picking up the Best Rock Video Award for ‘Break Stuff’ at the MTV Video Music Awards.
However the shoot ran into difficulties on several occasions. Security clearance had to be constantly sought for the helicopters that feature prominently in the video as the summit of United Nations leaders was also taking place in the World Trade Center at the time.
‘Rollin” will be the second single lifted from forthcoming third album ‘Chocolate Starfish and Hotdog Flavored Water’.
It will be released in the UK in the new year, but looks like being a double A-side with ‘My Generation’ in a US-only release later this month.
‘My Generation’ will be released in the UK on October 30. The video for the track will feature concert footage drawn from their recent free Napster-sponsored tour of the US.
