Limp Bizkit make live return

Latvia goes wild, but Fred Durst uses an autocue

Limp Bizkit made their live return in Latvia last night (May 20), playing their first show in eight years.

The nu-metal veterans are on the comeback trail with their ‘Unicorns and Rainbows’ world tour. They chose to kick off the reunion at Latvia Riga Arena – their first ever show there despite turntablist DJ Lethal being Latvian-born.

The band tore through hits including ‘Rollin’, ‘Nookie’ and ‘Break Stuff’. But Fred Durst was taking no risks after so long away, and was using an autocue.

Durst said in a statement: “Grateful is an understatement, we are blessed to be united again, and in no way is this a reunion, this is a comeback. Cheers to you all!” Footage from the show can be viewed online at the band’s official website, Limpbizkit.com.

Limp Bizkit played:

‘My Generation’
‘Livin’ It Up’
‘Re-Arranged’
‘Show Me What You Got’
‘Hot Dog’
‘DJ Lethal Theme’
‘Almost Over’
‘Break Stuff’
‘The Truth’
‘Boiler’
‘Counterfeit’
‘Just Like This’
‘Full Nelson’
‘My Way’
‘Faith’
‘Behind Blue Eyes’
‘Nookie’
‘Take A Look Around’
‘Rollin”

Limp Bizkit will continue their tour with festival shows at Germany’s Rock AM Ring, Belgium’s Werchter and Japan’s Summersonic, as well as their UK comeback, a slot on the main stage at Download Festival, Donington Park on June 10.

Their return to the US will take place at Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas on July 18. They are also planning to release a new album.
