US nu-metallers extend their November 'Hunting Party' tour
Linkin Park have announced a second show at London’s O2 Arena in November.
The US nu-metallers, who released their sixth album ‘The Hunting Party’ last month, had announced they were playing one night at Manchester’s Phones 4u Arena on November 22, and another at the O2 Arena in London the night after as part of their European tour. Due to demand, the Californian band have added an extra show on November 24.
Tickets go on sale this morning, (July 11) with support coming from metalcore band Of Mice & Men.
The band’s frontman Chester Bennington recently claimed that outdoor festivals are ruining live gigs. Watch the video below. Speaking to NME, Bennington said that he prefers playing indoors at the band’s own shows as opposed to bigger, open-air gigs.
“Rock’n’roll is not meant to be played with the sun shining on your face,” he says. “It can be done, but it’s done begrudgingly. Inside. Dark, lights, controlled environment. Always better.”
