LINKIN PARK NAME NEW ALBUM

The metal giants return in March...

LINKIN PARK have named their new album ‘METEORA’.

A posting on their official site, www.linkinpark.com, states that the LP, the official follow-up to 2001’s ‘Hybrid Theory’, will be released in the US on March 25 and a day earlier in the UK, with the first single being ‘Somewhere I Belong’.

The band, who’ve been recording since the end of 2001, have also confirmed that they will be playing in the UK very soon. London and Manchester have been named as the cities but dates are yet to be confirmed. They’ll also be performing in Milan, Paris and Hamburg at the start of a worldwide tour before US dates.

Linkin Park are also being strongly tipped to play the Reading and Leeds festivals in August this year.
