Little Comets: ‘We didn’t sound enough like Ke$ha for our label’

Sunderland band slam their old label Columbia as they announce new single

Little Comets have announced their first single since parting ways with Columbia – and have slammed their old label.

The band will release ‘Isles’ on October 18 on new independent label Dirty Hit Ltd.

Speaking about the release and the fallout with Columbia, they said: “This is the first single we’ve released since parting company with our old label Columbia at the start of 2010. It’s taken us a while to break from their grizzly clutches as initially they wouldn’t let us have our album back… but after deciding that it didn’t sound enough like Ke$ha they did…”
