'Team Ball Player Thing' released in aid of Batten disease, a rare recessive neurodegenerative disorder

Musicians including Lorde, Daniel Bedingfield and Flight Of The Conchords have contributed to a new charity single.

‘Team Ball Player Thing’ has been released by the Cure Kids charity in aid of Batten disease, a rare recessive neurodegenerative disorder.

Others to appear on the song include Kimbra, members of The Naked And Famous, Broods and more.

Lorde is working on her second album release, recently describing it as “exciting, scary” and influenced by Robyn.

The New Zealand star released her debut album ‘Pure Heroine’ in 2013, with her producer and co-writer Joel Little recently claiming that the singer was “trying new things” for her next LP.

Lorde will also appear on the new Disclosure album. The electronic duo’s second album ‘Caracal’ will be released on September 25.
