Lorde announces second London show due to popular demand

The singer will now play two dates in the capital this June

Lorde has announced a second show in London this June after the first date sold out in less than 24 hours.

The singer will play a second show in the capital at London’s O2 Shepard’s Bush Empire on June 5, which she will follow with her previously announced sold-out show at London’s Brixton Academy on June 6. The two dates mark only the second time she has played the UK, following a tiny gig at London cabaret bar Madame JoJo’s last year.

In April, Lorde was forced to postpone an Australian tour after being ordered to by her parents. She has announced that the shows will now need to be rescheduled after her parents and team intervened to ensure her long term well-being.
