Los Campesinos! head up exclusive tour single

Band are trekking round UK and Europe

Los Campesinos! are set to appear on a limited edition tour seven-inch vinyl single.

The band are teaming up with No Age and Times New Viking for a jaunt around the UK and Europe dubbed the ‘Shredyrface Tour’.

To coincide, all three bands have a track on a special vinyl release, available exclusively through record stores in The Coalition group.

Los Campesinos! contribute a Death To Napoleon III remix of their single ‘Death To Los Campesinos!’.

No Age contribute ‘Revolving Credit For Kitty’ while Times New Viking‘s track is ‘Anything Could Happen’.

Los Campesinos! frontman Gareth Campesinos was typically acerbic, commenting in a statement: “I’m not generally a fan of remixes and this is easily my least favourite ever, because what Napoleon III‘s done here is make his rendition infinitely better than the original, subsequently rendering our version redundant. I wish we could play it like this live.”

Additionally, a free 15-track sampler from the three bands’ labels Sub Pop, Matador and Wichita is available with any purchase from the labels. Tracklisting and details of special instore performances are available at the Shredyrface website.
