Lykke Li has debuted a video for new Swedish language song ‘Du är den ende’.

The track features on the soundtrack of new Swedish crime drama film ‘Tommy’, and is the singer’s first major acting role.

The film, which comes with the tagline “Wife. Mother. Gangster” is about a woman, Estelle, living on the run after her small-time gangster husband is involved in a major robbery.

The critically-acclaimed singer-songwriter will release the LP, which is her third studio album and the follow-up to 2011’s ‘Wounded Rhymes’, on May 5. Speaking to NME about the new album in a recent issue, Li said her third album will be a natural follow-up to 2007 debut ‘Youth Novels’ and her aforementioned second album.

She said: “I see my albums as a trilogy, with ‘Youth Novels’ as the first one and hopefully this one as the last in this chapter.”

She also admitted: “I always feel like I’ve been slightly misunderstood. As a woman you get judged for appearances or things like that I don’t really care about. If anything I want to be seen as a singer-songwriter rather than a pop artist. I really feel like I’ve found my voice.”
