M83 to release new album in 2016

Band last released an album in 2011 with 'Hurry Up, We're Dreaming'

M83 will release a new album next year, according to reports.

The electronic outfit – led by Anthony Gonzalez – last released an album in 2011 with ‘Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming’.

Following a series of reissues, a press release now states that the group are working on a new LP, due in 2016.

M83 recently released a compilation of remixes and b-sides from 2008 album ‘Saturdays = Youth’.

They will release reissues of ‘Saturdays = Youth’ and 2007’s ‘Digital Shades’ on November 20.

M83 recently collaborated with Haim for ‘Holes In The Sky’ from the Divergent Series: Insurgent movie soundtrack.

We’ve been fans of Anthony Gonzalez and M83 for a long long time so when he reached out to have us sing on the song we were ecstatic,” Haim said of the collaboration.
