Singer adds Birmingham show to her summer UK dates

Madonna has announced another huge UK show for this summer.

The singer, who releases her 12th studio album ‘MDNA’ today (March 26), will play Birmingham’s National Indoor Arena on July 19.

Madonna has previously announced that she will play London’s Hyde Park on July 17 and Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium on July 21. Tickets for the Birmingham date will go onsale this Friday (March 30).

‘MDNA’ is the follow-up to the singer’s 2008 LP ‘Hard Candy’. NME broadly liked ‘MDNA’, with reviewer Priya Elan giving the album 7/10 and describing it “as a ridiculously enjoyable romp, but not for the bits that were supposed to be fun”.
