'4 Minutes' singer has apparently recorded track with 14-year-old

Madonna has been working on a new track with her daughter Lourdes, according to a red top.

The ‘4 Minutes’ singer hopes the song, titled ‘It’s So Cool’, will help to launch the 14-year-old’s music career, reports The Sun.

They apparently first recorded the tune eight years ago, but reworked it in a New York studio in February.

The newspaper claims that Madonna is unsure of when and how she’ll release the song.

She’s apparently considering using it on her next album or putting on the soundtrack to her forthcoming new film, W.E..

A ‘source’ said: “Madonna hopes Lourdes will step into her shoes and become one of the biggest female artists in the world. She’s the perfect mentor for her daughter and is keen to assist her first steps into the industry.”

Last year, the singer advertised for collaborators for her new album on her Facebook page, Facebook.com/Madonna.

She said she wanted to work with “maddest, sickest, most badass people” on the record, which will be her first since 2008’s ‘Hard Candy’.
