Listen to some of the singer's earliest work now

One of the earliest recordings of Madonna performing has been posted online.

A compilation of recordings that features the singer performing ‘Born To Be A Dancer’ and chatting with then-boyfriend Dan Gilroy in the late 1970s has been posted online at

The tape, recorded by Gilroy‘s brother Ed, features Madonna joking around with her man in her lodgings below a Queens synagogue.

The early audio recording is interspersed with a recording of her acceptance speech at the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame earlier this year.
