Madonna’s producer in drugs scandal

He faces cocaine possession charges

Dallas Austin, the producer who has worked with the likes of Madonna and Michael Jackson, has been charged with cocaine possession in the United Arab Emirates.

Austin is set to go on trial in Dubai after being arrested at the city’s airport last month.

The R&B producer’s lawyer Qays Hatem al-Zu’bi said that Austin had travelled to Dubai to attend concerts, reports the BBC.

Austin won a Grammy in 1999 for his production work on TLC’s ’Fanmail’ album.
