Madonna reportedly accused of falsely claiming New York City parking spaces

The singer is said to have placed fake "tenant parking only signs" outside her townhouse

Madonna has reportedly been ordered to remove fake “tenant parking only” signs from outside her New York City townhouse.

According to TMZ, the singer has been accused by a neighbour of trying to make public spaces outside her property look as though they are private.

In addition to the allegedly fake “tenant parking only” signs, the singer’s entourage is said to have painted the kerb outside her property yellow and imprinted a “no parking” warning in cement on the adjoining pavement.

The city’s Department of Transportation has reportedly ordered her to remove all of the allegedly fake signage. However, Madonna and her team have yet to respond to the report.

The singer concluded her 82-date ‘Rebel Heart Tour’ in Sydney, Australia on Sunday (March 20) and it has since been confirmed that she has overtaken Bruce Springsteen to become the highest-grossing solo touring artist of all time.

During her penultimate show she was joined on stage by Game Of Thrones actress Gwendoline Christie, who was duly given a spanking by Madonna in front of the crowd.

Meanwhile, Madonna recently hit back at “sexist” accusations that she appeared on stage under the influence of drugs and alcohol while giving a special comedy performance called ‘Tears Of A Clown’ for members of her fan club earlier this month.
