A MADONNA fan invaded the stage and attempted to lunge at the star during her show at LONDON EARL’S COURT on Monday (July 9).

A male member of the audience, thought to be in his twenties, managed to get on to the stage and started to approach the star, before being apprehended by security guards, according to a report in this morning’s The Sun newspaper (July 11).

A spokesperson for Madonna told NME.COM that the man jumped onto the stage during ‘La Isla Bonita’ and attempted to join the dancers.

Later this month the star returns to the US, where she will perform across North America until mid-September.
