The band play an arena show in Cardiff - and head for north Wales for the first time in ten years...

MANIC STREET PREACHERS have confirmed the dates of two warm-up shows for their CARLING WEEKEND headline shows at READING and LEEDS on the August Bank Holiday weekend.

As revealed earlier on NME.COM, fan site www.foreverdelayed.com broke the news that the band will be playing Llandudno on August 20, their first north Wales gig for ten years.

The band have now announced that they will also appear at Cardiff International Arena on August 23, two days prior to their Reading slot, the first of the two Carling Weekend shows.

All proceeds from the Cardiff show will be donated to three, as-yet unspecified charities, which they aim to raise £25,000 each for.

Priced £15 for the Llandudno show, they are also available from the venue box office, tel – 01492 872000. Tickets for the Cardiff gig are priced £18.50 each.
