PAUL DRAPER, (pictured) lead singer of Mansun, will be holding a live webchat session on NME.com this Friday, July 3. Fans will be able to converse with the singer for an hour by logging into the NME.com chat channel between 1pm-2pm on the day.

Mansun’s eighth four-track release, ‘The Legacy EP’, is out on Parlophone today (June 29). The CD features the tracks ‘Legacy’, ‘Railings’, ‘Check Under The Bed’ and ‘Can’t Afford To Die’. ‘Railings’ is a Howard Devoto composition and the EP version features the Magazine and Buzzcocks singer on vocals, his first recorded outing for many years.

Mansun, who played at Glastonbury on the weekend, are finishing their second album ‘Six’ for a September release. They will undertake their biggest-ever tour of the UK throughout October. Dates are: Glasgow Barrowlands (October 3), Middlesbrough Town Hall (4), Leeds Town And Country (5), Sheffield Octagon (7), Manchester Academy (8), Blackburn Windsor Hall (9), Wolverhampton Civic Hall (11), Derby Assembly Rooms (12), Llandudno North Wales Theatre (13), Leicester De Montford University (15), Cardiff University (16), Bristol University (17), Warwick University (18), Southampton Guildhall (20), Norwich UEA (21), Cambridge Corn Exchange (22), London Brixton Academy (23), Brighton Event (26), Guildford Civic (27), Margate Winter Gardens (28), Chester Northgate Arena (30), Kings Lynn Corn Exchange (31), Oxford Brookes University (November 1) and Torquay Riviera (2).

Tickets are #9.00, except London where they cost #10.00, and are available from the NME 24-hour Ticketline 0870-1212-500. All calls are charged at National (UK) standard rate.

The band are seeking NME‘s help in finding support acts for the dates by asking bands to send them their tapes. The band will then personally listen to all entries and choose the best support band in each venue’s locality. All entries should be sent to: Mansun Support, PO Box 72, Liverpool L69 1YG, England.

As well as the different local bands for each date, the band will have a second support from special guests who have yet to be announced.
