Singer set to hit theatre stages next spring
Mariah Carey is set to star in a play in London‘s West End next spring.
The singer is believed to have held a series of talks with a theatre producer, who has offered her a £15,000-per-week contract.
An anonymous source told the Daily Mirror: “Mariah‘s done a bit of acting in her time but nothing on this scale.
“She was hugely flattered to have been asked and is determined to nail the part, she is pretty confident in her own abilities. Although there’s been talk of musicals Mariah has always wanted to star in a play, so this really is a dream come true.”
Carey is due to release her new album, ‘Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel’, on August 25.
