Mark Lanegan is to team up with QOTSA on their forthcoming European dates...
A spokesperson for the band told NME.COM today (May 1) that Lanegan, who is a friend of guitarist Josh Homme, will be a guest vocalist on their forthcoming British dates.
It is currently unclear exactly what role Lanegan will play, although it is expected he will perform vocal duties on a number of songs throughout the band’s set.
Lanegan‘s manager Greg Werckman told the American All Star news service: “Mark will sing the two songs he did on Queens‘ album [‘Rated R’] and maybe a couple more, but he’s just a featured guest, and he hasn’t joined Queens.”
Lanegan will also appear at two American shows, and the Pinkpop Festival in Holland.
