'It could be some game changing shit that comes out of this,' Ronson tells NME
Called TheCreatorsProject.com, the global scheme is set to launch in New York, London, Sao Paulo, Seoul and Beijing.
Speaking to NME about his involvement in it, Ronson said: “Whether it’s in a studio making music, or using UV technology to make some new mindbeinding light design for a nightclub, this is for all people of a technological age.”
The project, which has been launched jointly between Vice and Intel, aims to connect leading artists with the next generation of innovators, encouraging them to collaborate. Five shows will take place across the aforementioned cities where artists will showcase their speciality, with the first kicking off in New York on June 26, before calling at London on July 17.
“It could – or could not, of course – be some game changing shit that comes out of this,” Ronson continued, adding: “It’s all a bit greedy and selfish really, but part of the reason I’m down with this project is because I really wanna find the next kid who’s doing it and nick his ideas for myself to make a really great show out of it!”
