It’s the last song the late singer wrote

Matthew Jay is set to release ’What Would Love Do Now?’, the last song the he wrote.

The song was unknown until it was found on Jay’s home recording computer in February 2004.

A statement about the found song says: “A group of family and friends had gathered to listen to Matthew’s legacy of songs. It had been an emotional day, listening to his work, when suddenly they heard, for the first time, Matthew’s guitar opening this song. Everyone was simply stunned.”

The song was mastered by Eddy Jay, Matthew’s brother.

It will be released on the third anniversary of his death on September 24.

Jay passed away on 24 September 2003, when he suffered a fatal fall from a window of a London flat.
