Maximo Park to play Royal Albert Hall

The band line-up Teenage Cancer Trust show

Maximo Park are set to play London’s Royal Albert Hall.

The band will take to the stage at the venue on March 30 for a special concert in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust.

The band will be supporting Razorlight, who are headlining one of the charity’s six nights at the theatre.

This will be the sixth year of Teenage Cancer Trust concerts, produced by The Who’s Roger Daltrey.

Maximo Park have just finished playing throughout the UK on the sold-out ShockWaves NME Awards Tour 2006, topping a bill that also featured the Arctic Monkeys, We Are Scientists and Mystery Jets.

The band’s own UK tour this coming autumn sold out within two hours of being announced last week.
