Metallica have been confirmed to play at next year’s ROSKILDE FESTIAL in DENMARK.
The band, who have been ensconced in the studio in California for most of this year working on their new album, join [a][/a] on the bill for the festival, which takes place on June 26 – 29.
According to festival organisers, it will be their only Scandinavian date this summer.
As previously reported on NME.COM, Metallica have been trying out new bass players in recent weeks, with at least three unnamed bassists dropping in to play with the band.
They are currently in the process of choosing 10 to 20 songs for the album from the cache of 30 they have been working on.
