MIA to debut new single ‘Bring The Noize’ next week

Her fourth album 'Matangi' is expected to be released later on in the year

MIA is set to air her brand new single ‘Bring The Noize’ next week.

DJ Zane Lowe will premiere the track on his BBC Radio 1 show next Monday (June 17), which airs from 7-9pm [BST].

MIA recently offered fans a preview of her new album with the release of an eight-minute long mix created for fashion house Kenzo. The mix, which you can stream below, was designed to be used by Kenzo during their Fall/Winter 2013 collection show at Paris Fashion Week. MIA’s forthcoming album is titled ‘Matangi’ and will be her fourth studio album, following the release of ‘Maya’ in 2010. A one-off single ‘Bad Girls’ was released in 2012.

It was previously revealed that MIA is working with Hit-Boy, the producer behind Kanye West and Jay-Z’s ‘Niggas In Paris’ on her next record. “I just did seven songs on her new album. We just locked in the studio and just vibed and we did seven incredible records,” the producer said while sharing a song called ‘Doobie’ the pair had made together.

MIA was due to release her fourth album ‘Matangi’ in late 2012. However, she revealed that record label Interscope were not quite convinced by her work because it was too positive.
