The star stops traffic as he turns up in the Big Apple to promote new LP 'Invincible'...

MICHAEL JACKSON brought traffic to a standstill in NEW YORK yesterday (November 7), while making his first ever appearance at a record store.

The star was on hand at the Virgin Megastore in Times Square yesterday afternoon, to help promote his current album ‘Invincible’.

Jacksongreeted fans, some of whom had been waiting for up to 48 hours, and signed copies of the new record. He also greeted screaming teenagers outside the store and danced to his last single ‘You Rock My World’.

One fan, Shari Griffith, told MTV news that she thought Jackson one of the greatest artists of all time. She commented: “He’s the greatest of all time, you don’t even have to ask the question. He’s just an innovator.”
