WANNA BE FINISHIN’ SOMETHIN’

But his record company, Sony, seem unconcerned at the reports...

MICHAEL JACKSON’s new album may not be ready for its scheduled June release, according to reports from the US.

The New York Daily Post has claimed that Jackson’s lawyer, John Branca, told them: “It’s not ready yet.” He also said that “no one’s had the heart to tell” Sony Music’s all-powerful chief Tommy Mottola yet.

A Post reporter also claims to have run into Mottola at a party. Mottola said the delay did not bother him, adding: “All I want is another ‘Thriller’. The time it takes doesn’t matter. Just get it to me this year and everything will be fine.”
