MICHAEL JACKSON is set to appear at a fan convention in LONDON early next month, according to a letter the star is purported to have written to a fan website.

[url=]www.planetjackson.com have a posted a letter from Jacko in which he has stated an intention to be at the convention at the Hammersmith Apollo on March 7.

Jackson is due to address students at Oxford University Union the previous day, talking about his Heal The Kids initiative.

The letter from the star reads:

“To all my fans,

“I am really looking forward to my visit to the United Kingdom to launch the Heal The World Foundation’s newest initiative, Heal The Kids. It will be wonderful to visit with so many of you at the 10th Annual Michael Jackson Day, which will help benefit both the Heal The Kids initiative and Sargent Cancer Care for Children. The event that will be held is a wonderful show, and one that I have been following yearly.

“The presentations and performers are great, and it really makes my heart happy to be a part of this year’s event. Thank you so much for your support and your love and remember, together we can all make the world a better place!

“See you on the 7th of March in London!

A spokesperson confirmed to NME.COM that Jackson would be in attendance at the convention.
