Pictures and soundclips from the star meeting of the year

Courtney Love has revealed to NME how Michael Stipe helped her after Kurt Cobain killed himself: “When I was a leper, Michael used to call me. It was one of the more important things that helped me get out of my shitty rut that I was in.”

She also reveals that the reason she was thrown out of Babes In Toyland in the early 90s was because of her liking for REM. In the interview in this weeks NME she says: “Kat Bjelland and Jennifer Finch, said ‘You like REM too much. You wanna be REM too much'”.
