Migos caught up in drugs bust

Police found 420 grams of marijuana and 26 ounces of codeine in their vehicle

Migos‘ vehicle was stopped and searched for drugs in North Carolina last night (April 5).

The rap group were playing at Appalachian State University’s George M. Holmes Convocation Center, although Offset reportedly did not perform with Quavo and Takeoff.

According to WCNC, police seized 420 grams of marijuana, 20 ounces of codeine, and some Xanax pills during the search. They reportedly searched the tour bus after officers on security duty at the venue smelt marijuana coming from it.

Three men now face drug charges, but Migos themselves were not arrested. Daryl Irvon McPherson and Dominic Kevin Spigner were cited with misdemeanour drug charges, while Jharon Ahmad Murphy was charged and arrested for felony possession of marijuana with intent to sell or deliver.

Earlier this year, an unlikely star revealed they would love to collaborate with Migos. Jeff Goldblum  had been spotted with Quavo in recent months, and when asked about it said he had “loved meeting him”. “We were shopping and we started to talk and took some pictures together and I was very thrilled to meet him,” he said.

Asked if he would be up for collaborating with the rapper and his group, the actor replied: “Oh my gosh, I’d be thrilled to do any, any little thing with him and them. Yeah that would be a lot of fun. It could go anywhere! That’s a great idea.”
