'Face To Face' showcases the work of former NME snapper Tom Oxley
The exhibition displays innovative video portraits of a number of musicians. These short, silent clips showing the artist listening to a music track of their choice, are projected on the gallery walls.
The idea behind this project is to combine both the media of photography and video, and push them forward together. I really want people to stop and think, then instantly connect with what is in front of them. This allows the viewer to stand back and truly take notice of what they are seeing, where subtle movements from the subject create a striking visual impact.
Tom Oxley: Face To Face is open to the public from until October 28 at Londonewcastle Project Space in East London.
