Miley Cyrus accidentally dropped the F-bomb during her appearance on the Today show this morning (September 16).
The incident occurred during a commercial break teaser for Cyrus’s upcoming interview on the US morning show, when the singer did not realise her microphone was already switched on.
“There’s no sound. It doesn’t matter what I’m saying, right?” she said after making a silly face. “Fuck!” Watch the accidental F-bomb below.
During the interview that followed, Cyrus revealed that she intends to boycott the red carpet at showbiz events she attends from now on. “It’s really not about the colour of the carpet, it’s more about the way that, especially women, we get yelled at, to blow them [the photographers] a kiss,” she said.
“I don’t feel like blowing you a kiss,” she explained. “I don’t really want people to talk about what I’m wearing. That’s usually why I don’t wear too much. But they make me wear clothes on The Voice and on the Today show, so this is what I chose.”
Cyrus was appearing on the Today show to promote her two autumn TV projects. As well as joining the US version of The Voice as a coach, she has a lead role in Woody Allen‘s upcoming Amazon Prime series, Crisis In Six Scenes. Watch the trailer for it here.
