MOBY DOESN’T DICK AROUND WITH FESTIVAL BILL

The bald dance wizard is joined by the likes of OutKast, New Order and The Orb...

MOBY has confirmed the first dates of his AREA ONE touring festival in the US.

As previously reported on NME.COM, Moby will take to the road in the summer, with a stellar line-up in support. Support acts will come from a pool of artists, including New Order, Nelly Furtado, The Roots, Incubus, OutKast and The Orb, as well as DJs Rinocerose, Carl Cox, Paul Oakenfold and a selection of local DJs over the two stages.

Speaking previously about the mini-festival, Moby said: “My reason for doing this is that there is a lot of music in the world that I love that does not always get the appropriate exposure.”

The first set of shows will be at:

Atlanta Hi-Fi Buys (July 11)

Washington Nissan Pavilion (13)

Philadelphia Tweeter Center (14)

Wantagh Jones Beach (15)

Boston Tweeter (18)

Holmdel PNC (19)
