Frontman to play London event in January

Mogwai‘s Stuart Braithwaite is set to play a solo show as part of London‘s one-day Shhh! Festival early next year.

The event takes place at Cecil Sharp House in Camden on January 22.

The concept of the event is to create a quiet listening environment for fans, with “shhushers” set to be employed to keep tabs on any chattering audience members.

Meanwhile, Mogwai are set to release new album ‘Hardcore Will Never Die, But You Will’ on February 14. Braithwaite has told NME the title was inspired by an overheard comment in an off-licence.
