The chart-bothering rap outfit are expected to sign to Jay's label...

NEW YORK rappers M.O.P. are set to join forces with JAY-Z by signing to his ROC-A-FELLA label, according to reports from the US.

A number of hiphop websites including Launch and Real-Hiphop.com claim the Brooklyn outfit are about to move from their current home at Epic imprint Loud – the label associated mostly with the Wu-Tang Clan.

However, a UK spokesperson for M.O.P. denied the claim this morning. A spokesperson for Jay-Z and Roc-A-Fella could not be reached at press time.

M.O.P. recently scored their second successive UK Top Ten hit with ‘Ante Up’, a collaboration with Busta Rhymes. Plans are underway to bring them to the UK in the autumn.
