'World Peace Is None Of Your Business' is the former Smiths frontman's 10th album
Morrissey‘s latest album ‘World Peace Is None Of Your Business’ has gone into the Official Albums Chart at Number Two, behind Ed Sheeran’s ‘x’, which is this evening (July 20) celebrating its fourth week at Number One.
‘World Peace Is None Of Your Business’ is Morrissey’s 10th solo album, and has been trailing ‘x’ all week in sales, but Sheeran’s second LP has now racked up an impressive 367,000 UK units shifted. The rest of the Top Five remains the same as last week, with Dolly Parton’s ‘Blue Smoke’ at Number Three, Sam Smith’s ‘In The Lonely Hour’ at Number Four and George Ezra’s ‘Wanted On Voyage’ at Number Five.
Other new entries in the Official Albums Chart include Jungle with their debut ‘Jungle’ at Number Seven and Rise Against at Number 13 with ‘The Black Market’.
In the Official Singles Chart, boyband Rixton have scored their first ever Number One with their debut single ‘Me And My Broken Heart’. The band’s frontman Jake Roche commented: “Being Number One is probably the biggest thing ever that has happened to us in our lives! And it means a lot because it’s in our home country, and that’s something that’s been the main goal for us, to really make an impact. It’s a dream. Thank you to everyone who has bought it for your support.”
Nicole Scherzinger’s new single ‘Your Love’ went in at Number Seven, while Ella Eyre’s ‘If I Go’ is in at 16 and Kove’s ‘Way We Are’ feat Melissa Steel at Number 30.
