Craig David performed new single at the London Arena event...

Ms Dynamite has scooped three gongs at the MOBO Awards tonight (October 1) in London.

The rising garage star, who recently won the Mercury Music Prize for debut album ‘A Little Deeper’, walked away with awards for UK act of the year, best newcomer and best single for hit ‘It Takes More’. Dynamite lost out on the best album award to US star Alicia Keys. Ashanti won two awards at the ceremony.

Previous winner Craig David was amongst the performers at the London Arena event. He debuted new single What’s Your Flava?.

The ceremony was hosted by rapper LL Cool J and Alesha from Mis-Teeq.

There were two posthumous awards tonight. The late R&B star Aaliyah, who died in August 2001, was named winner of the best video award while Lisa ‘Left-eye’ Lopes was given an outstanding achievement award.
