Mumford and Sons have covered Alt-J‘s track ‘Tessellate’, from the band’s acclaimed debut album, ‘An Awesome Wave’.

Mumford and Sons yesterday headlined the iTunes Festival at London’s Roundhouse, released their second album, ‘Babel’, and also announced details of a massive UK and Ireland tour.

The band will play 14 dates on the stint – which includes six theatres and eight arenas, kicking off in Torquay in November 21 and finishing up at Dublin’s O2 on December 16.

‘Babel’ was produced by Arcade Fire/Coldplay collaborator Markus Dravs, who also worked with the band on their first album
