Mumford And Sons singer ties the knot with 'Shame' actress

Mumford and Sons frontman Marcus Mumford and actress Carey Mulligan got married at a ceremony in Somerset yesterday (April 21).

The ‘Little Lion Man’ singer and the Drive actress tied the knot at a farm in the West Country in front of 100 guests including Colin Firth, Jake Gyllenhaal and Sienna Miller, reports US Weekly.

The couple, who got engaged in August 2011 after being together for five months, wed at the ceremony held in a barn at Stream Farm in Bridgwater. Marcus’ dad, who is a vicar, conducted the service.

Although it was originally rumoured that Adele was expected to sing at the wedding reception, US Weekly reports that Marcus’ Mumford And Sons bandmates stepped in to serenade the couple.

They reported a source, who said:

At the end of the night there were just the musicians, Jake, Carey and the Mumford boys. We had some pizza and just played music. Jake picked up a guitar and Carey joined in on ‘Amazing Grace’.
