Band to head up London Communion night on February 22

Mumford and Sons are set to headline a special Shockwaves NME Awards Show in London later this month.

The band will head up a show at the 500-capacity Dingwalls venue on February 22 as part of a night hosted by the Communion musical collective.

Anna Calvi, Marcus Foster and Rachel Sermanni are also on the bill.

Mumford and SonsBen Lovett, who is one of the Communion organisers, said: “We played at Dingwalls for our second EP launch a couple of years back, it was such a massive deal for us to play a venue of that size, and I remember how nervous we were to play in front of that many people.”

He added: “We cannot wait to be back in London and return to the venue alongside such an amazing line-up of acts, new and old friends, and for another great Communion night.”

Tickets go on sale at midday (GMT) on Thursday (February 10). To check the availability of Mumford And Sons tickets and get all the latest listings, go to NME.COM/TICKETS now, or call 0871 230 1094.
