Folk-rock band to sell EP with tour tickets

Mumford and Sons have announced they will release a four-track EP of new songs.

Ted Dwane and Ben Lovett spoke to NME before their Glastonbury set on The John Peel Stage Friday, 25 June about the EP and an autumn tour, and revealed that they plan to link the two together.

“Our UK tour is announced. I’m very excited, it’s going to be the last UK tour of the year,” explained Dwane. “And this ‘Wedding Band’ EP which we’ve been a part of is going to be released with the tickets to that tour. So if you buy a gig ticket you can buy an EP.”

The four-track EP features Mumford and Sons, plus a few “musical pals”, and will be limited to 100 per date. See the video interview for full details.
