My Chemical Romance, 30 Seconds To Mars, Beady Eye to play Reading Festival today

The Offspring, The Vaccines, Noah And The Whale are also set to perform today (August 26)

My Chemical Romance are making their debut headlining Reading Festival tonight (August 26) as the first day of music gets underway at Richfield Avenue.

Gerard Way and co are making their first appearance at the festival since 2006, when they endured a hostile reception from the crowd. The band have recently indicated that the shows will be their last UK gigs before they return to the studio to record the follow-up to their 2010 album ‘Danger Days: The True Lives Of The Fabulous Killjoys’.

30 Seconds To Mars are also set to play the event, possibly for the last time, as rumours about that they plan to split up continue to swirl.
