That Adam Cook's a hardy fella...

MY RED CELL guitarist ADAM COOK played a gig sitting down yesterday (November 18) after being knocked down by a car!

Cook was hit by a car outside the Paradise Bar in New Cross. After the gig, the band’s manager took him to hospital, where he was given crutches and heavy duty painkillers.

Fortunately, Adam will continue with the New World Disorder Tour, playing the remaining gigs from a chair!

The band are touring alongside The Future Kings Of Spain, and Ludes. The Koreans will take the place of Hang On The Box on tonight’s leg of the gig. As previously reported on NME.COM, the Chinese punk band were denied Visa’s after the government deemed the band an “inappropriate portrayal of Chinese culture”.
