The singer says tour will happen "this year"

Dappy has revealed plans to reunite his former group N-Dubz.

Speaking to The Mirror, the singer expressed his desire to get back together with his bandmates Tulisa Contostavlos and Fazer. The trio went on hiatus in 2011, looking to concentrate on their solo careers.

Dappy said: “I will do a tour again with N-Dubz. I want it to happen soon – this year. I’ve had three number ones by myself and I want another two – that will make it five. That’s my aim to get five under my belt. Tulisa and Fazer are all ready for it, too. We’ll all win BRITs.”

In the interview, Dappy also discussed being kicked in the face by a horse and rumours suggesting he had had a nose job. He said: “Do I look like I need a nose job? I had to have a nose job ‘cos it was written off. I tapped a horse on the bum, innit, and the septum of my nose was flapping under my left eye. When I was in the general anaesthetic room I was begging the doctor to sort my face out. I said, ‘Please, please make it normal. I’m a pop star’.”

Dappy recently came second on Channel 5’s latest series of Celebrity Big Brother, beaten by TV presenter Jim Davidson. Meanwhile, Fazer has released a handful of solo singles since N-Dubz’s break and set up his own production company, Sky’s The Limit Entertainment, working on music for Jessie J and Tulisa.

Tulisa released her album, ‘The Female Boss’, in 2012, while appearing on The X Factor as a judge. Last year, she was arrested on suspicion of supplying Class A drugs following a sting set up by newspaper The Sun On Sunday. She is set to face trial on July 14, 2014.
