And they wouldn't say no to Robbie Williams or Oasis...
The duo of Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo, who have previously produced Jay-Z, Kelis and Ol Dirty Bastard, told NME.COM that along with more conventional artists such as “Roni Size and his crew”, they would also like to produce many of the more mainstream UK chart acts. In addition, the group said that Stereolab would be high on their list of priorities.
In addition to Kelis‘ last album, The Neptunes have just completed production duties on their new album, ‘Wonderland’, as well as setting up their own record label.
Speaking about the label, Pharrell Williams said: “The new label we have is called Star Trak, and look forward to hearing a rock group called Spy Mob, a rock group called Lee Harvey And The Oswald Band, a rap group called the The Clips, rap group Fam Lay, a solo artist Rasco P Coltrane, a R&B artist Mark Dawsey.”
N*E*R*D, the musical offshoot to The Neptunes, release a new album, ‘In Search Of’, at the begining of August.
