Band played hour-long set at Maida Vale today
New Order played material from new album ‘Music Complete’ as well as a selection of their greatest hits as they recorded a live session for BBC 6Music today.
The band performed live as part of the station’s 6Music Live week, which has already seen Leftfield, The Staves, Bloc Party and Mercury Rev all perform throughout the last five days. Bloc Party debuted two new songs in their appearance on Monday while The Staves were joined on stage by Justin Vernon (aka Bon Iver) yesterday.
New Order’s set included ‘Music Complete’ songs ‘Singularity’, ‘Restless’, ‘Tutti Frutti’ and ‘People On The High Line’ as well as hit singles ‘True Faith’, ‘Blue Monday’ and ‘Temptation’.

New Order released ‘Music Complete’ on September 25. It was beaten to the Number One spot by Disclosure’s ‘Caracal’.
New Order recently confirmed details of an upcoming UK tour. The short run in November will include gigs in London, Glasgow, Liverpool and Wolverhampton. See below for dates.
