Reformed band will play the UK capital at the end of 2011

Tickets for New Order‘s one-off London show in December go onsale this morning (November 4) at 9am (GMT).

The group, who now include keyboard player Gillian Gilbert and new bassist Tom Chapman as well as regular members Bernard Sumner, Stephen Morris and Phil Cunningham, will play London’s Troxy venue on December 10. The gig will be New Order‘s first UK show for over five years.

The band reunited earlier this year for two benefit gigs and also confirmed that longtime bass player Peter Hook would not be part of their line-up.

Hook, who has repeatedly expressed his unhappiness at his former band’s reformation, is currently touring with his band The Light, who have recently been playing Joy Division‘s classic album ‘Closer’ as part of their set.
