GARDEN PARTY!

The Seventies punk legends head for Northern Ireland...

US glam punk legends the NEW YORK

DOLLS are to follow their comeback shows at

Morrissey‘s MELTDOWN with a massive outdoor gig in BELFAST.

The band, who reformed at the request of the former

Smiths man, will support White Stripes in front of thousands in the

Botanic Gardens on August 25.

Libertines’ drummer Gary

Powell took the place of the New York Dolls’ late

drummer Jerry Nolan during this

week’s comeback shows, though it is not clear if he

will remain in place for the Irish show.

White Stripes’ pals Blanche are also appearing at the one-day event, billed as the Tennents Vital

Festival.
